Suggestion for a Service for Good Friday
Some years ago I participated in the celebration of Tenebrae (Latin for shadows) in our church in Galway. This was a common service for Good Friday before the Second Vatican Council. This is a reflection on the Passion of the Lord which is combined with a very emotive symbolic movement into darkness. It can be a beautiful way to celebrate Good Friday.
The service is reproduced on this site. Take a look under "Resources" and then "Lent/ Easter Triduum"
