News from Youth Group in Drogheda

On Saturday night last, the 6^th of November, the Youth Initiative of Drogheda organised and ran a very special mass in remembrance of all the people who died throughout the year. It was a real community effort with all the musicians and readers who participate throughout the year taking part. A list of all the people who had passed during the year was read out and then anyone from the congregation who wanted to, took a candle and laid it at the front of the chapel on a cross. It was a very poignant mass made all the more special as everyone who took part had lost someone during the year. It was great to see such a strong presence in the church both young and old, and i look forward to the next youth initiative run event in the church.
