Fr. Noel in Panama

During the months of October and November, Fr. Noel Hession OSA, from the Irish Province of Augustinians will be helping out in a diocesan seminary in Panama City - Seminario Mayor San Jose.  This is a response to an invitation which was made by Fr. Miguel Angel Keller OSA who has worked for many years in Panama.

The Archbishop of Panama City, Jose Domingo Ulloa, is an Augustinian so there is a strong connection with the area.  Noel will be helping in the seminary by teaching a course and helping in the general formation of the 50+ seminarians who study there.

This is also the seminary where the Augusinian students study - 13 of them.  Here they spend three years studying philosophy before going to the monastery of El Escorial, near Madrid, in Spain, to study theology.

If you would like to know more about Noel's experience in Panama why not follow his blog which you can find at www.noelinpanama.blogspot.com
